At Sound Psychiatry and Wellness, a virtual psychiatry practice, Drew Pittman, PMHNP, provides virtual psychiatric care to adults in Colorado, Ohio, Florida, and Massachusetts.
Drew decided to pursue a career in medicine after working several years as a transportation engineer. He began his transitional pursuits at Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina, earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
In 2018, Drew enrolled at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and earned his Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on psychiatric mental health. There, he received extensive training in diagnosing and treating various behavioral conditions, including bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and major depressive disorder.
At Sound Psychiatry and Wellness, Drew provides comprehensive psychiatric care via telehealth. He uses a secure virtual platform to provide convenient, accessible, and confidential care.
Drew takes a conservative and patient-centered treatment approach. He uses genetic testing to guide his decision-making and utilizes prescription medication in addition to natural remedies and lifestyle changes.
Drew does not prescribe benzodiazepines or stimulant medications and works closely with patients to ensure positive treatment outcomes.
When Drew isn’t working or consulting with patients, he enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with his family. Call Sound Psychiatry and Wellness today to schedule a new patient consultation, or book your virtual psychiatry appointment online.
